I've been more or less occupied over the last week with Pete Lockett's rehearsals with Rajasthani musicians. I already posted some photos of Pete's rehearsal, but below is a recording I took with my phone of some Maanta players. It starts in the middle of their act, so apologies for not capturing the serene build-up to where the recording begins. In any case, I found it highly enjoyable on second listen.
Photographs and short written pieces concerning my time in Rajasthan, India, working for the Jaipur Virasat Foundation.
